A: We recommend that Covered in Chocolate provide dipping items to insure quality and presentation.
Just think, you don't have to worry about all of the prep time that it takes to purchase, wash, and cut all the dipping items. Dipping items may also be provided by the catering company, or the client.

Q: How may people will the 20 lbs of chocolate typically serve?

A: Twenty pounds of chocolate will usually serve a party of about 250 people. Additional chocolate can be purchased as needed .

Q: How long is the rental period?

A: The chocolate fountain is typically run for 3 hours.

Q: What are the table and electrical requirements for the chocolate fountain?

A: Because the fountain weighs approximately 100 lbs. when full, a sturdy table is a must. Availability of a 120 volt outlet is also needed.

Q: How is the table decorated?

A: Each event is different, so make sure to ask about this when you book your event.Covered in Chocolate also provides all the serving dishes for the dipping items, if we are provideing them.

Q: Can the fountain be used outdoors?

A: Unfortunately, the sweet aroma of chocolate attracts not only guests, but flying insects. Conditions such as wind and outdoor temperatures can also affect the chocolate. Arrangements can be made if a tent or shelter is provided.

Q: How large are the fountains?

A: Our chocolate fountains stand 27" & 34" tall.

Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: Simply call us and we will send you a contract. Return the contract with a $150 deposit to reserve your date.
